In 1999, my son Sam started college. He wanted to take his favorite photograph of mine to hang in his room. I persuaded him not to take the 30” x 40” framed print of Water Wall. Instead, I made him a calendar for the year 2000 with Water Wall at the top. Then I printed some more and gave them to friends. Each year, ever since, I select a single photograph from the previous year for a one-page calendar. Friends often send me photographs of their calendars in situ.
